marks the 7th edition of the annual innovation challenge hosted by IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Sri Lanka. This year’s theme,
challenges undergraduates and fresh graduates to solve real-world problems across sectors such as Healthcare, Education, Elderly & Child Care, Agriculture, Tourism,
and any other area where technology can make a positive change.
The competition unfolds in
Phase 1: Awareness & Outreach
Spreading the word, igniting interest, and encouraging participation among undergraduates and fresh grads.
Phase 2: Training & Mentorship
Exclusive workshops and 1:1 mentorship sessions to support teams in shaping their ideas and solutions.
Phase 3: Solution Development
Teams develop design blueprints or working prototypes showing their solution’s core functionality.
Phase 4: Final Pitch & Recognition
Finalists pitch their innovations live and stand a chance to win prizes, recognition, and growth opportunities.
Phase 1: Proposal Submission
Submit a concept brief outlining your problem statement, proposed solution, objectives, and expected impact.
Phase 2: Initial Design / Prototype Submission
Shortlisted teams will submit a working prototype or design blueprint demonstrating core functionalities.
Phase 3: Final Product Physical Showcase
Finalists present a complete product or MVP at a live event, pitching their solutions to a panel of experts.
