Aimed at inspiring and encouraging girls to step into STEM fields, the IEEE WIE Sri Lanka Section introduced a novel initiative in 2023, “Power Hour: Saga to Inspire & Connect”. This series brings together accomplished women in STEM fields, allowing participants to learn from their life stories of hard work, dedication, and passion that fueled their success. Power Hour was awarded the Best Section Affinity Group Project Award by the IEEE Sri Lanka Section in 2023.
